A. How to backup or restore data?

Home Screen => Admin Entry => Backup and Restore Database.

B. How to renew the POS (erase all data)? (I have an error and cannot initialize POS. Quick fix: renew the POS, and then restore backup data.)

Run tool: IPTPOS.Tools.exe
For Windows 32 bit: C:\Program Files\IPT\IPT Point Of Sale 2.0\Tools\IPTPOS.Tools.exe
For Windows 64 bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\IPT\IPT Point Of Sale 2.0\Tools\IPTPOS.Tools.exe
Run IPTPOS.Tools.exe
- Step 1: Backup Database.
- Step 2: Run again this tool. Create New Database. Done.


C. How to reinstall the POS on this PC?

Step 1: Go to Control Panel => Programs and Features => Select IPT Point Of Sale app, then uninstall this app.
Step 2: Go to IPT Point Of Sale website, download and install the new POS.
Step 3: If you don't want to use the old data, please renew the POS (erase all old data).
